I heard about this before like you try to call many auto insurance places your credit score will drop?

So, recently I’ve been looking around for auto insurance…….I haven’t had insurance within the past 30 days, and have had one minor violation(speeding) within the last 3 years….

the cheapest quote I’ve received is from Esurance. Has anyone had any experience with them? Good or bad?

Also, any insurance companies you would reccommend that will give you insurance without having prior insurance for more than 30 days?

I always thought that if I had bad credit and a bad driving record I may as well just kill myself. I swore it would never happen. Well, now here I am with both and I need auto insurance asap! I live in Delaware and they take your credit into consideration. The worse your credit, and driving record the higher your premium. I just got a quote from Nationwide today and I kid you not it was 0 a month! And that was with the defensive driving course discount! Help! Please!

I currently have two cars, a Toyoya and a Galant. My auto insurance will be renewed starting Feburary 1st which is in in about 2 days. I really think I will sell both cars w/in the next few wks(Toyota has high mileage and the Galant uses alot of gas) for a more fuel efficient car like a Honda. Is it possible to change automobiles in the middle of a coverage period? I’m not sure how it works. This is my 1st time with my own insurance. Thanks for the clarification!

My dad has my car and his car on his policy, I am currently in school and do not drive my car because I live in a dorm and no cars are allowed. I am not a driver listed on the policy and the insurance company wants to add me as a driver which is going to double my dad’s policy. Is there any other type if auto insurance would just cover me as a driver for any car I use? Any suggesstion??? Help

im paying too much for my auto insurance and im just wondering if i can put my mom as the only driver. that will reduce a lot of monthly payment.

the car is under my name but its just too much money to pay insurance….. is that legal?
