auto insurance?
My dad has my car and his car on his policy, I am currently in school and do not drive my car because I live in a dorm and no cars are allowed. I am not a driver listed on the policy and the insurance company wants to add me as a driver which is going to double my dad’s policy. Is there any other type if auto insurance would just cover me as a driver for any car I use? Any suggesstion??? Help

im paying too much for my auto insurance and im just wondering if i can put my mom as the only driver. that will reduce a lot of monthly payment.

Why does car insurance choose to write off if it only cost little less by repair the accidents?
Just wondering why auto insurance prefer to write off if it cost little more than fix the damages?
Example: Car value at 11,000 dollars, repair cost is 10,800. Insurance rather write off, not bother to fix by spending 10,800 to repair. Why not repair to save couple of hundreds?
I mean if it cost 6,000 to fix then yeah insurance will fix to save 4,000 dollars, but not the example I mention above.

Is car insurance cheaper for used cars than new?
I hear a lot that when getting you’re first car that you’re supposed to buy a used car and not a new car because auto-insurance is going to be cheaper. Is there any truth behind this?

For the average person (young adult), what is the difference between the cost of auto insurance for a coupe and sedan?
For example, a honda civic coupe and a 4 door sedan?
