My boyfriend (he’s 39 years-old) still uses his parents home address for his car insurance even though he has lived in the neighboring state for the past 12 years. He just recently was involved in an accident (not his fault) and he’s freaked out that the insurance company is going to find out. How would the insurance company go about investigating this to find out?

If you are involved in a accident and the other motorist is at fault but they have no insurance. The insured driver’s insurance pays to have their car repaired. Does the insurance company go after the driver to re-coop their monies?

My mom and dad have their cars insured with one insurance company, we are going to get another car and wanted to have my mom as the primary driver and me as an occasional. The problem is the rates are really high for an occasional driver when you have three cars. Is it legal for my mom and me get insurance with a different company? Can my mom be insured with two companies for two different cars?

My dad has my car and his car on his policy, I am currently in school and do not drive my car because I live in a dorm and no cars are allowed. I am not a driver listed on the policy and the insurance company wants to add me as a driver which is going to double my dad’s policy. A car wrongfully hit mine in a parking lot. At the time, I didn’t have insurance so that automatically makes it my fault? Well, this happened in August of 2006 and their insurance company is trying to call me to get paid. What is the statute of limitations on this? Also they have my name spelled wrong, so can they really find me?
